Desert de Oro Foods (DDO) is excited to announce the winners of this quarter’s DDO Clean Sweep Contest! This initiative was a collaboration between our operations and facilities departments, and we want to thank everyone who participated.

Our Vice President of Operations, Fred Bendel, and Director of Development and Construction, Mark Raymond, had the honor of judging the competition — no easy feat! According to Fred, this year’s top teams truly raised the bar. Please join us in congratulating our regional winners:

Outstanding job by all! Each winning team received some great swag; Restaurant General Managers (RGMs) were each awarded a free trip to a nearby attraction. 

Cleanliness is critical in the quick service restaurant (QSR) space — not just for our guests, but for our teams who thrive in an environment that looks, feels and is clean. This is why recognizing the cleanest restaurant is top priority. It was an extremely close contest, especially among the top three competitors. In fact, we had a tie for first place, which prompted a closer look at — customer-facing areas: exterior, dining room and restrooms.
