At Desert de Oro Foods (DDO), investing in restaurants means investing in both team members and guests. Two recently remodeled Taco Bell locations in San Antonio, TX are already making a strong impression with upgraded technology, refreshed spaces and energized teams ready to serve their communities!
Our remodeled locations include the Taco Bell at 12050 Blanco Road and 5311 Rigsby Road. Both restaurants were closed for approximately three weeks during renovation.
Designed with Teams & Guests in Mind
The Taco Bell remodels included updates to both the back-of-house and lobby areas, along with the addition of four new ordering kiosks at each location. New digital menu boards and upgraded equipment are helping create a smoother experience for guests while also making day-to-day operations easier for team members.
According to Area Coach (AC) Yvette Ramirez, feedback has been overwhelmingly positive from both sides of the counter.
“The team loves the new remodel and upgrades,” she says.
Guests also noticed the difference right away, with many commenting on how nice the restaurants look after reopening!
Excitement From Day One
Opening day at both DDO San Antonio locations brought a sense of pride and excitement as our teams worked together to prepare their restaurants to welcome guests again.
That teamwork helped create a successful launch!
“The most exciting part of these openings was the team working together to get the store open for business,” says Yvette.
Early Results Already Showing Success
The impact of these two remodels was immediate. Since reopening, both restaurants have seen improvements in sales and speed of service! According to Yvette, they’re outperforming last year’s sales by 20%!
For our teams at Blanco Road and Rigsby Road, the restaurant remodels represent more than updated buildings; they are a reflection of our company’s continued commitment to providing great experiences for guests while equipping our teams the tools and workplace environments they need to succeed every day.
