A little friendly competition can go a long way! One Desert de Oro Foods (DDO) team recently earned recognition in Taco Bell Corporate’s Halftime Hustle competition, a contest designed to challenge restaurant teams to improve service and cut guest complaints in half.

For our Buckeye, AZ Taco Bell on South Watson Road, the contest became an opportunity to rally around a shared goal and improve results as a team. Determination turned into recognition as the team hustled their way to a well-earned win!

According to Area Coach (AC) Lilia Narvaez, the Buckeye team stood out because of its dedication to improving results. From the start, team members were highly motivated to come out victorious.

Their shared drive helped fuel the team throughout the competition and ultimately led them straight to the top.

Recognition has been especially meaningful for this team because they run a very busy location. For a crew working in a fast-paced environment, having their efforts recognized by Taco Bell Corporate was a momentous accomplishment.
