A Warm Welcome for Ymunie Webster

While Ymunie Webster is no stranger to Taco Bell, she’s still getting to know Desert de Oro Foods (DDO). The Food and Service Champion recently joined our Phoenix, AZ Taco Bell team — but was previously employed at a different Taco Bell in Dallas, TX.

We sat down with Ymunie to learn more about her DDO experience thus far.

“Taco Bell has really changed something in me. The customer service, the place, the environment, being around the people — it changed my character.”

From Lone Stars to Grand Canyons

When Ymunie first arrived in Phoenix, she immediately began looking for a new job. As a mom, she needed to land something quickly. When she saw an opening at Taco Bell, she didn’t hesitate — she applied and got the position.

When Ymunie began working for us, she was expecting her experience to be very similar to the one she had at the Taco Bell in Dallas. However, she quickly found out it was going to be better!

A Definite Upgrade

Ymunie says that right away, she noticed that DDO was different. She raves about our overall positive energy and how many kind people she’s encountered so far. “It’s a breath of fresh air,” she says of her new workplace, adding that she likes it a lot more than the one she had previously!

Ymunie attributes DDO’s environment to the attentiveness of our leaders. She shares that if she ever has a concern or problem, her manager will listen — and the issue actually gets fixed. “That doesn’t happen at other companies,” Ymunie says.

Shooting for the Stars

Ymunie has dreams of going into acting and singing — but says that she’d be interested in moving up at DDO, too. With us, we’re confident she could pursue both. The sky is truly the limit!
